Honobia, Oklahoma - Area Information

Bigfoot loves Honobia and the surrounding area because of its remoteness, so please come prepared. There are no ATM's, no gas stations (closest one is 18 miles away), no wifi & most cell phones won't have service! Honobia is a great place to "unplug" and get back to nature. The beauty & the peacefulness of the mountains will call to you. That call might also be Bigfoot, so listen closely!

The annual Bigfoot Festival and Conference used to take place the first Friday and Saturday in October, annually in Honobia, Oklahoma. Now that the Director of the Kiamichi Mountains Christian Mission has decided to go another way, the Honobia Bigfoot Organization can no longer hold their event on the grounds!  This directly impacts the Honobia Bigfoot Organizations ability to continue to provide scholarships to local High School Seniors as well as the Community Outreach program that has raised over $74,000.00 over the past 13 years.

Whether you’re a serious Bigfoot scholar or a seeker of folklore, you’ll find fellow explorers at the Kiamichi Christian Mission, located at Highway 144 and Indian Trail Highway in the deep woods of tiny Honobia, OK.
